That mom girl-boss game is strong here.

"What a wild ride this life is," I often find myself saying. The dream of having children and building a life with them is beautiful, but the reality of being a mom is a journey filled with unexpected challenges. This journey encompasses much more than just pregnancy, breastfeeding, and the postpartum period.

Venti, quad shot, extra hot please.

With a side of water to keep me hydrated to get through this day.

For my first blog post, I'd like to take you through a day in the life of a mom. It involves the familiar routine of driving kids to and from school, the quest for running shoes that fit my 10-year-old daughter (which sometimes leads to multiple store visits), and even the unexpected challenges like our truck breaking down on a rainy day. To top it off, I'm anxiously counting down the hours as I have a night shift at the hospital tonight, with a never-ending list of tasks swirling in my mind.

The never-ending to-do list and the pressure of juggling various responsibilities can feel overwhelming. But, it's all part of the adventure. After all, there's dinner to cook, lunches to prep, and children to get settled before I head off for my night shift.

I invite you to stick around as I share more about my breastfeeding journey, my path towards becoming an IBCLC, and my reflections on life as a busy mom. Your presence here means a lot, and I'm excited to connect with fellow moms and share our experiences in this rollercoaster called motherhood.

Thank you for being a part of this journey with me!
